The exotic musical sound-world of 17th-century London is brought vividly to life by one of the world's most dynamic and virtuosic performing groups - Bjarte Eike and Barokksolistene - plus a cameo appearance by celebrated soprano Mary Bevan. Beauty, improvisation, melancholy, bawdiness - Purcell, Playford and their European contemporaries bang heads with ballads, ditties, elegies, sea-shanties and folk song. Along with a variety of classical stringed instruments, their own arrangements delight us in a joyful mix of vocals, percussion, harmonium, guitar, charango and storytelling. Filmed on location in one of London's oldest taverns, The George Inn, Southwark.

The Drama Sessions is an online drama foundation course that includes filmed acting lessons in the form of a mini drama series. Brad (Gregory Scott), and Lyndsay (Emer Mary Morris), are actors whose relationship has been strained ever since Brad betrayed Lyndsay's trust. It was a relatively small matter but Lyndsay's lack of confidence in herself and her abilities allied to a personal life with a boyfriend who is the epitome of chauvinism, has ensured that it has continued to rankle with her. Meanwhile, Brad has problems of his own, not least the fact that he has an agent who seems to be less than 'hands on' and that his last job was playing a peanut. Throughout the course of The Drama Sessions we see Brad and Lyndsay focusing on their hopes for the future, coping with fears of failure and navigating their complicated friends-enemies, on-off relationship. It is a storyline developed against a backdrop that includes a cast of strange, colourful and frequently eccentric characters.

The documentary provides an unprecedented glimpse into Young and Crazy Horse’s creative process, as they took to tape in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains during the Covid-19 pandemic. Kicking off with a note of gratitude from Young (“I’m so glad we’re fuckin’ here!”), the trailer shows what things were like as the legendary band got back into their element, in the wild, making music in a restored, 19th-century log barn under a full, glowing moon.
